I have been organizing and connecting to Spirit for as long as I can remember. I often recall memories from girlhood where I would take apart my whole desk, all my books, all my clothes and rearrange them by size or by color, by genre or season. I am a triple Virgo (!) and so I truly believe I was born to do this work. Creating exceptional organized spaces is what I know—it’s in my deep, innate true spirit, and in the fibers of my body.
In 2000 I started working as a professional organizer in New York City while earning my MFA in Photography from Pratt Institute. Years later I am now combining the spiritual element with organizing as a sacred art. With my artistic background I have a very strong visual sense, as well as a deep respect for order, efficiency, productivity and weaving in a spirit of authenticity with every space I’ve had the honor to work with.
The core of my experience is in homes and home offices. I’ve worked in all types of spaces—from a 10-bedroom bed and breakfast to yurt homes, to tiny NYC apartments to multi-level historical Victorians in SF, to ranch homes in Austin to flats in Boston, and beach houses in Hawaii. I’ve worked with every type of client from east to west coast and in between, from art students crammed in New York City lofts, to upper class families in very large homes. I’ve worked with people from all walks of life and a variety of incomes. At heart I’m a people person, and I don’t pass judgement on anyone’s situation—we’re all walking our own path.
Each organizing assignment is customized for my clients based on their personality, time management, and individual organizational issues. Everyone is different and everyone’s tastes vary, so I tailor the project to the individual: we’ll work together to agree upon the best organizational solution for you. Together, we’ll create a beautiful, stylish, functional and productive space.
I am extremely professional and work with the utmost efficiency in your home, office or business. I find it rewarding to provide creative solutions to organizing environments. I’m pro-recycle, re-use and re-purpose. I try and maintain an earth-friendly perspective on everything we do. I work quickly, I’m fun, and I always strive to make the process enjoyable.
People are always surprised by how much more time, energy and productivity they have once they become organized. You’ll realize that you actually end up saving money because you already have the things you need and can find where they are. When you’re organized you’re more efficient, and that in turn creates more possibilities for future income. I’ll help you get your life in check, so you can spend your time doing the things you enjoy most.
This work is my calling, and I feel most at home making your home a sacred space.
